About your Vaillant guarantee
Your Vaillant guarantee covers you for the repair of any defects related to the manufacture of your Vaillant appliance. The repair has to be completed by one of our Vaillant Service Engineers and will cover both parts and labour.
Your guarantee does not cover defects which are unrelated to the manufacture of the product or a result of misuse. We'll send you the full terms and conditions of the guarantee along with you guarantee confirmation. Alternatively, you can read them below.
Please note:
You must register your guarantee within 30 days of installation to ensure you’re protected. As soon as you're registered, our nationwide team of Vaillant Service engineers will be on hand to help should anything go wrong and replace parts free of charge if required.
How to register your guarantee
You can register your Vaillant appliance with ease through our myVAILLANT Web Portal.
myVAILLANT Web is our free online service portal which gives you control over your boiler’s guarantee, repair and service information. The portal allows you to book and manage your boiler repair appointments online, keep track of your service history, and activate your smart home subscription.
If your appliance was installed by a Vaillant Advance Installer:
If you had your boiler or heat pump installed by a Vaillant Advance installer, then they can register the boiler or heat pump guarantee for you and offer an extended guarantee period. If you're unsure whether your installer is an Advance member, you should contact them immediately and confirm this.
If you're still deciding what boiler or heat pump you would like, get in touch with a Vaillant Advance installer:
Select an installer on our Find an Installer tool and they will contact you. Once they have contacted you, they will be able to arrange a survey of your property and find the most suitable Vaillant boiler or heat pump for your heating and hot water demands. Once they have installed your appliance, they will then register your boiler or heat pump and offer you an extended guarantee period for your appliance.

Booking over the phone:
To register your appliance over the phone with our service department, we will need the following information
- Serial number
- Gas Safe registration number of installer
- Date of installation
- Installation address
Where can I find my serial number?
Your 28 digit serial number can be found on the control panel of the boiler (and in the benchmark logbook which your installer should have provided you after the installation) and on the back of your heat pump.
