By booking with Vaillant, you will benefit from a full service check on your boiler by a Vaillant engineer - who better to look after your boiler than the people who made it?

To maximise the performance and reliability of your boiler, ensure it is serviced once a year by a Gas Safe registered engineer. This also:

  • Ensures your boiler is running safely and efficiently

  • Maintains your guarantee

  • Avoids future repairs when problems are identified early

  • Saves energy by ensuring your boiler is performing correctly

  • Increases its life expectancy

In Guarantee Service

In guarantee boiler service price from £129 (price inc VAT). One-off payment made at time of booking.

Our boiler service includes comprehensive checks such as combustion analysis, gas safety inspections, hydraulic assessments, electrical system evaluations, performance testing, and water quality analysis.

In addition, it will include:

  • Cleaning where necessary, the ignition systems and controls.
  • Minor adjustment of mechanical components.
  • Tightening of joints or lubrication of moving parts.
  • Replacement of non-functional or serviceable components, to include gaskets, screws and seals.
  • 30-day guarantee on the work carried out.
  • Parts used in the provision of the Service will be guaranteed for a period of 12 months and will be replaced free of charge, including associated labour and call-out fees.
  • Help to maintain your warranty.

While your boiler is under guarantee any replacement of functional parts, including pump, fan, heat exchanger, and internal controls can be included in the service. Please refer to our full terms and conditionsfor any exclusions.

The boiler should be in good working order and used for domestic purposes only. If the boiler isn’t working as expected, please call 0330 100 3143 to speak to a member of our dedicated team who will decide if a repair is required alongside the annual service.

Out of Guarantee Service Vaillant Maintenance and Support Plan

Provided by Domestic & General Services Limited, these plans are designed to maintain your boiler and controls, and to keep them working efficiently by providing you with an annual service each year. It also provides the added reassurance of covering the cost of any future repairs, once the plan is activated.

We offer two plan options if your boiler is no longer under guarantee:

Gold plan
Platinum plan
£309.88 per year - Covers boiler controls and annual service.£329.88 per year - Same as Gold but with the added benefit of a heating system (including radiators and exposed piping).

Why sign up to our Maintenance and Support plan?

  • Annual service to help maintain your boiler.

  • Ongoing hints and tips to keep the boiler in good working order.

  • Exclusive access to Domestic and General Boiler Care portal.

  • Services and repairs carried out by Vaillant Gas Safe registered engineers.

  • Contribution of £750 towards new boiler, if the existing boiler is deemed irreparable.

  • Repairs up to the value of £1,500 if an issue is found during the annual service or your boiler stops working*

If an issue is found during the annual service or your boiler stops working, we have our own nationwide network of Gas Safe-registered boiler engineers and will repair your boiler up to the value of £1,500.

If we are not able to repair your boiler or decide that it is beyond economic repair, Domestic & General will arrange for your boiler to be replaced with a new one, and will contribute up to the value of £750. Installation costs are not included.

Vaillant’s Maintenance and Support Plans are only suitable for domestic boilers under 15 years old that are in good working order and out of guarantee. Your boiler also shouldn’t be protected by a similar plan.

*Your boiler protection plan will become effective 30 days after we receive your application, however, your boiler must be in a good working condition when you apply, or your plan may be invalidated.

How can I pay for the Vaillant Maintenance Plan?

The plan runs for 12 months and starts the day you take it out.

Maintenance Plans paid for by direct debit are renewed automatically, unless you tell us otherwise, offering you and your heating system the peace of mind that comes with uninterrupted protection year after year.

Renewal reminders are sent 21 days before renewal.

The visit will not include the replacement of functional components such as the pump, fan, heat exchangers, internal controls, and casing or the replacement of external controls and accessories. For a full list of exclusions, please refer to our full terms and conditions.

If our engineer finds that a repair is required during the service, and your appliance is outside the manufacturer's guarantee, we can quote for this whilst on site.
