Vaillant Maintenance and Support Plan
If your boiler is out of guarantee and you have not already taken out a plan, you could take out the maintenance and support plan. Provided by Domestic & General Services Limited, these plans are designed to maintain your boiler and controls, and to keep them working efficiently by providing you with an annual service each year and other benefits as described below.

Through our online support you can access hints and tips and troubleshooting at any time during the term of your plan, in order to help ensure your boiler stays in good working order. You will also receive an annual service and support via telephone or online if your boiler is not working.
If an issue is found during the annual service or your boiler stops working, we can arrange for onsite visits by our own nationwide network of Gas Safe registered boiler engineers, to the value of £1,500. If we are not able to repair your boiler or we decide that it is beyond economic repair, Domestic & General will arrange for your boiler to be replaced with a new one, up to the value of £750. Installation costs are not included.
This Maintenance & Support Plan is provided by Domestic & General Services Limited. The plan provides you with maintenance and support services to help keep your boiler properly maintained, supported and in good working order.

Need to know
Vaillant Maintenance and Support Plans are only suitable for domestic boilers under 8-years-old that are in good working order and out of guarantee. Your boiler also shouldn’t be protected by a similar product.
The plan excludes the cost of repairs for scale and sludge, malicious and cosmetic damage, indirect costs, and problems related to the initial installation.

How long can I protect my boiler for?
For central heating systems, you can get a 12-month protection and then renew it annually. There's no age limit on renewals.
How can I pay for the Vaillant Maintenance Plan?
You can pay monthly by Direct Debit over the length of the plan. When you pay by Direct Debit you are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. Plus, your plan will automatically renew each year, ensuring there's no break in your boiler's protection.
How plan renewals work?
We'll renew your plan automatically to ensure there's no break in protection, leaving you to relax and enjoy peace of mind for another year.
Is my boiler too old to be protected?
You can take out a plan for a combination or condensing boiler if it's under 8-years-old.
Conventional boilers must be under 8-years-old.
After you've taken out a plan on your boiler, there's no age limit on renewals.
How do I know what kind of boiler I have?
If you have a hot water tank or an airing cupboard, you have a conventional boiler. If not, you have a combination boiler.
Do you need to inspect my boiler first?
No, we don't. Your boiler plan will start 30 days after receipt of your application. However, your boiler must be in good working condition when you apply or your plan might be invalidated.
What's the maximum value of boiler repairs I can have?
If an issue is found during the annual service or your boiler stops working, we can arrange for onsite visits by our own nationwide network of Gas Safe registered boiler engineers, to the value of £1,500.
What do I do if I have a problem with my boiler or central heating?
You will have access to our Boiler Care portal and ongoing hints and tips to keep the boiler in good working order. If you are unable to resolve the problem, you can request a repair by contacting us by telephone. The telephone number will be shown on your plan document.
Can I find a boiler engineer myself?
Only if we advise you to. The work of our engineers is monitored and guaranteed, and we ensure they carry public liability insurance. That's why we prefer all repairs to be carried out by our approved engineers.
What do I do if I smell gas?
Don't turn on any lights or electrical equipment, as they generate a spark.
Open all doors and windows in your house, Go outside and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. They will send an engineer to make your boiler safe. You can then contact us for an engineer to come and repair your boiler.
