- Annual servicing
- Exclusive access to our Boiler Care portal
- A dedicated contact centre, available 7 days a week, 364 days a year

You can also renew this plan annually to help protect your boiler for longer.
How can I pay for the Vaillant Maintenance Plan?
The Vaillant Maintenance and Support plan is payable monthly by Direct Debit – this also gives you the benefit of the Direct Debit Guarantee.
Your plan will be automatically renewed after 12 months, making sure that your boiler is continuously protected.
How plan renewals work?
Maintenance Plans are renewed automatically, offering you and your heating system the peace of mind that comes with uninterrupted protection year after year.
Is my boiler too old to be protected?
You can take out a plan for any boiler less than 8 years old.
Once you have entered into a maintenance plan, this will renew automatically year after year with no cap on the appliance age.
How do I know what kind of boiler I have?
Combination boilers are typically the most popular boiler and are compact with no separate hot water cylinder or cold water storage tank.
System boilers require a separate hot water cylinder (usually found in an airing cupboard), and are usually found in larger homes with multiple bathrooms.
Regular boilers require both a hot water cylinder and cold water storage tank (usually found in the loft), and are usually present in homes with older radiator systems.
If you're still unsure what kind of boiler you have, your local installer will be able to advise you.
Do you need to inspect my boiler first?
No – your boiler protection plan will become effective 30 days after we receive your application.
However, your boiler must be in good working condition when you apply or your plan might be invalidated.
What's the maximum value of boiler repairs I can have?
If an issue is found during your annual service, or if your boiler stops working, your Maintenance and Support Plan will cover any repairs up to the value of £1,500, carried out by one of our engineers.
If we are unable to repair you boiler, or it is deemed beyond economic repair, Domestic and General will arrange for a replacement boiler up to the value of £750.
What do I do if I have a problem with my boiler or central heating?
Our Boiler Care portal provides a series of hints and tips to help keep your boiler running at it's most efficient and to help keep it running at its best.
However, if you find a problem with your boiler or central heating that you are unable to resolve, you can request a repair through our repair line: 0330 100 3143. This number can also be found on your plan document.
Can I find a boiler engineer myself?
We have a nationwide network of Gas Safe registered engineers that we monitor and guarantee to carry out any necessary work.
Whilst you are welcome to find a third party engineer, we typically don't recommend or advise this as they have not been approved by us to perform any repairs.
What do I do if I smell gas?
If you begin to smell gas in your home, it is important to take swift action:
Call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
Avoid turning on any lights or electrical equipment.
Open all doors and windows in your house,
Leave the premises as quickly as possible
