The announcement was a positive step in the right direction including extending the Green Homes Grant (GHG) voucher scheme by a year, a target to install 600,000 heat pumps every year by 2028, and setting the ambition for a hydrogen heated neighbourhood for 2023.

What are we doing about it
The 10-point plan has paved the way to a green industrial revolution to help decarbonise the UK. As a heating manufacturer we are aware that our boilers rely on natural gas and for over 10 years Vaillant has been investing in the development of a comprehensive range of heat pumps which we design and manufacture in-house. Alongside heat pumps we are now developing our boiler range to become hydrogen ready ranging from a 20% mix to full 100% hydrogen.
