Vaillant wins NAS award for multi-million pound consumer brand campaign
Vaillant was delighted to attend a recent ceremony at the House of Commons to accept a special award from the Noise Abatement Society (NAS).
The NAS runs Quiet Mark™, the international approval award presented to manufacturers who prioritise noise reduction within the design of everyday machines and appliances. These unique annual awards, now in their 17th year, acknowledge the importance of the quality of sound in our lives, and champion vital advances in reducing the negative impact of unnecessary noise for the public benefit.
Vaillant takes great pride in producing boilers and heat pumps that have been engineered to be as quiet as possible. Vaillant has supported the NAS campaign for some years now, and proudly uses the Quiet Mark logo on marketing materials for its qualifying products, including its recent multi-million pound consumer brand campaign. It is for this campaign (that continues into 2019) that Vaillant was awarded the John Connell Quiet Mark Campaign Award 2018.
Alice Woolley, Marketing Director for Vaillant in the UK accepted the award, commenting, “At Vaillant we have a team of specialist engineers working in our Research and Development department that ensure our boilers and heat pumps are as quiet as possible. We understand that noise intrusion contributes significantly to stress in the modern world, which is why the quiet operation of our appliances is a key factor in our design process. We have always been proud to be qualified to display the Quiet Mark on our marketing materials, emphasising our commitment to manufacturing low noise, high performance heating technologies. It’s great that our campaign to promote how a quiet, warm comfort zone can improve one’s quality of life has been recognised by NAS and we are extremely happy to receive this special award.”
