Vaillant can offer you a choice of two repair options. We’ll send one of our own Vaillant trained engineers out and aim to get your boiler working again.

Repair & Care plan

Repair & Care is a maintenance & support plan for your broken-down boiler, providing a one-off repair (where repairable) and then ongoing maintenance and support for your boiler and controls, to help ensure they continue to work correctly and to minimise the chances of mechanical and electrical breakdown. It is provided by Domestic & General Services Limited.

If you have taken out a Repair & Care plan, you have a no fix no fee promise. If the expert engineer can't fix the initial fault or if the boiler is beyond economic repair, you'll get a full refund of any monies paid up under the plan until that point - no questions asked.

This maintenance & support plan is provided by Domestic & General Services Limited. The plan provides you with maintenance and support services to help keep your boiler properly maintained, supported and in good working order.

Fixed Price Repair

The fixed price repair option is a one-off package designed for broken boilers that aren't within their manufacturer's guarantee.

Every repair includes a gas safety check.

  • Initial repair by an expert engineer to get you back up and running
  • If we can't fix your initial fault, or if the boiler is beyond economic repair, we'll refund any monies paid up under the plan until that point
  • Ongoing hints and tips to keep the boiler in good working order
  • £51.98 a month for 6 months totalling £311.88 (inc. VAT) by Direct Debit
  • Exclusive access to Domestic & General's Boiler Care portal to keep your boiler in good working order
  • Maintenance checks at the same time as your initial repair to help maintain your boiler
  • Repair up to the value of the £1,500 if your boiler stops working
  • Repairs by Gas Safe engineers
  • All parts fitted are guaranteed for 12 months and all labour is covered for 90 days
  • If we can't repair your boiler we'll only charge you for the fixed engineer time (for £95)
  • All parts included, excluding the Heat Exchanger and Expansion Vessel
  • £285.00 one-off payment (inc. VAT)*

Main exclusions of the Repair & Care plan include: scale, sludge and hidden pipework, repairs related to the installation of the boiler, cosmetic or malicious damage, and indirect costs e.g. gas supply
