ecoTEC Diagnostics and Fault Finding

(Previously known as - Vaillant ecoTEC / Expert to vaillant boiler systems / level 2 )

09:00 to 16:30 (with 1 hour lunch break and regular coffee breaks)

Aimed at:

Gas safe registered heating engineers.

Tools required:

General heating engineer tool kit, manometer, flue gas analyser, multimeter.

This course involves:

This course will cover ecoTEC diagnostic system tools used when diagnosing the boiler status. Electrical safe isolation, boiler drain down, safe component removal and replacement, voltage checks of the main components, problem solving using the appliance diagnostic systems and appliance sequences. The trainer will use a hands on approach in a step by step process using diagnostic and sequencing techniques. A sound knowledge of the ecoTEC range of appliances is required.

This course is suitable for:

Experienced heating / appliance engineers who wish to gain valuable knowledge on the ecoTEC appliance range.
