Vaillant expands Business Development Team to cover the Midlands and the North

Vaillant expands its specialist Business Development Team, designed to support specifiers within architects, consultants, developers and contractors, by adding 2 new Managers to cover the Midlands and North of England regions.

Offering in-depth design and specification expertise, the Business Development Team will be on hand to provide resources for the development and implementation of industrial, commercial, domestic and renewable heating systems.

The initiative began in December 2018 when business development managers, Rob Arkle and Peter Spurway joined the Business Development team, to focus on London and its surrounding areas, led by Chris Goss, a specification expert with a decade’s worth of experience at Vaillant. Chris Sykes and Tom Oldfield have now joined the team to cover the Midlands and North.

Covering the Midlands, Chris Sykes brings a wealth of specification experience with over 12 years in the construction industry. Having predominantly worked with consultants and national housing developers, he is knowledgeable on building regulations focused on finding the best solution which falls in line with building requirements and cost efficiency.

Tom Oldfield joins the team with over 20 years’ experience as a Service Engineer, working for the firms including British Gas and BDR Thermea. Tom has a breadth of knowledge covering merchants and property developers and will provide specification support in the North of England.

Commenting on the team, Chris Goss said: “The new additions to the team ensure that we are able to extend our expertise and to support consultants across the country, from London to Newcastle. Delivering a highly specialised service, it enables us to supply a level of design and specification support which is unmatched in the industry.”
