MCS Quality Management Course

The MCS is an internationally recognised quality assurance scheme that gives installers a mark of competency so that you can demonstrate to your customers that you can install renewable microgeneration technologies to the highest quality, every time. As a quality assurance scheme, the MCS also applies tomanufacturers of most renewable microgeneration technologies (such as solar thermal or heat pumps) requiring MCS certification.
By being MCS certificated, the quality of your renewable installations is assured to homeowners who are increasingly looking for renewable installations. More importantly, individuals and businesses will only be able to access the financial incentives available through the RHI scheme if the installer is MCS certificated. Installers holding the MCS certification will therefore inevitably become the preferred choice for customers across the UK looking to have renewable heating technologies installed in their homes and benefit from the rapid growth in demand.
You can get MCS accredited by a certification body for a specific type of renewable technology. This is done by completing a formal application process and assessment. The assessment includes various stages of the supply, design, installation, set-to-work and commissioning of renewable technologies and culminates with an installation audit.
Vaillant has developed a comprehensive MCS training course which guides you through every step of the process and gives you all the information and documentation needed for the quality management assessment.

Vaillant’s one day MCS Quality Management course includes:

- Full guidance on the full MCS quality manual process
- MCS Quality Management manual template
- Vaillant MCS support pack including installation and servicing manuals
- All building/planning regulations

Additional to most other MCS courses, the Vaillant course also includes the following benefi ts at no extra charge:

- Free registration on the NICEIC Competent Person’s Scheme – reducing time in notifying building control
- Discounted ongoing installation registration – reducing the cost of notifying your work to building control.
- Achieving MCS Certifi cation will normally take around six to eight weeks from the date of the MCS Quality
Management training course.
