auroTHERM Exclusive

The auroTHERM exclusive range of solar thermal systems, is a renewable technology range which can deliver up to 60% of your annual domestic hot water requirements, by installing premium vacuum tube collectors (panels) on the roof of your property, which are connected to an indoor pump system, hot water cylinder and system boiler.

Helping to reduce your carbon emissions at home, and add value to your property, our most efficient and high performing collector; the auroTHERM exclusive, achieves the highest annual solar yield due to the innovative tube design of the collector.

The auroTHERM exclusive system achieves greater total solar coverage throughout the year than any other Vaillant solar system, meaning high performance for a longer period of time.

The auroTHERM exclusive collector has a small footprint which gives more flexibility for siting in a variety of locations on the roof. The design is perfect for vertical on roof or flat roof installations.

As with each of our solar thermal systems the auroTHERM exclusive helps to reduce your carbon emissions at home by lowering boiler dependence for hot water, and can add significant value to your property.

  • Many homes could have solar thermal technology installed alongside a new system boiler. A suitable home will need sufficient roof space for the required number of collectors, and must also be the correct orientation (A south facing roof for example) to benefit from solar thermal radiation
  • A typical upgrade of an existing heating system to a solar thermal system will take between 2-3 days.
  • The auroTHERM collector is sold with a 10 year guarantee**, and the solar system components come with a 2 year guarantee.
  •  Innovative collector design provides greater solar coverage and efficiency throughout the year.
  • Weatherproof auroTHERM exclusive collector features toughened glass tubes to protect against extreme conditions.
  • Individual tubes are manufactured with a special coating to maximise solar gain.

auroTHERM-plus-wideInstalling and maintaining a renewable technology can be costly; however when you install a Vaillant renewable heating technology, you could potentially make savings on your gas bill and reduce your carbon footprint.

  • Typically, standard installation can cost between £4000 – £5000. However, a larger system is available complete with high efficiency boiler, weather compensating controls and storage cylinder. Installation of a larger system can cost between £6000 – £7000. *
  • When upgrading an old standard gas boiler to this new system (including a high efficiency system boiler and the provided weather compensating controls/outdoor sensor)you could save up to approximately £298 on your fuel bills per year*.
  • This system could be eligible for funding through the GovernmentsRenewable Heat Incentive (RHI) when installed by an MCS accredited installer. If your auroTHERM installation benefits from the additional incentive of the RHI programme, this system could save you up to £501 per year*.
  • Yes, by upgrading an old standard gas boiler to this new system (with weather compensating controls and an outdoor sensor) you could save up to approximately 2,027 kg of C02/year.
