  • BPEC Solar DHW course

BPEC Solar DHW course (3 days)

This course is designed for new solar DHW installers. It’ll also include an assessment which, if successful, candidates will then receive a certificate of competence from BPEC. This will enable candidates to apply directly to Clear-Skies/Low Carbon Building Programme to become a registered solar installer.
This course is specifically designed for experienced heating installers only and will involve a distance learning pack prior to attending the course. Successful candidates will also be accepted by Vaillant into the Accredited Solar Installers list. Please note to comply with current legislation G3 Certification is required to install unvented hot water cylinders.

Course available at: Elland, Birmingham, Bristol, Slough and Cambridge 

Duration: 3 days

Cost: £495.00 inc VAT per person (includes BPEC registration fee)

- Solar hot water storage
- Installation considerations
- Layout and design
- Electrical wiring and commissioning
- BPEC assessment
