The VR 81 can be used as a remote control unit for the Weather Compensator VRC 430 / VRC 430f. On the large display of the VR 81 the current room temperature and the current heating mode are shown. With the "turn and click" handling, these settings can easily be changed.

The Remote Control Unit VR81 has two possible functions: In a single-zone heating system, the VR 81 will be installed on the wall inside your living area while the Weather Compensator VRC 430 remains in the boiler fascia. When used with a 2-zone heating system the VR 81 would become the room thermostat for the second heating zone while the Weather Compensator VRC 430 / VRC 430f would act as room thermostat for the first heating zone. For this installation an additional VR 61 Mixer Module would be required.
