Other functions operated by the remote control include power/soft function to boost unit output or operate in quiet mode respectively. There is also a sleep function which reduces the set temperature gradually before switching off completely.
Another standard convenience feature is the room card function. This allows the unit to be switched on and off remotely by a hotel room card, time clock, BEMS or any other switching device allowing these systems to be centrally controlled, negating the need for units to be switched off individually when not required. A Vaillant Room Card device can be supplied if required.
