Vaillant has been in close partnership with Three River Housing Association over the past two years, after being awarded ‘preferred partner status’ in 2006. The deal was part of Three Rivers’ commitment to £18m of affordable housing, providing homes with higher levels of quality and energy efficiency.
Vaillant was shortlisted for the award alongside three other suppliers, following Three Rivers’ consultation with their in house development team and contractors. The shortlist was based on the quality of product and service received from each supplier.
David Brown, Head of Development at Three Rivers Housing Association, said: “This is our opportunity to recognise the commitment and drive of our partners in developing affordable housing schemes in the North East. In a very good field of nominations, Vaillant were chosen as the winner of our supplier category, due to the high level of service and quality they have provided over the past 12 months.”
Eric Aylesbury, Key Account Manager at Vaillant Ltd, said: “We have worked very hard over the past couple of years to ensure that Three Rivers has addressed the need for affordable homes in the North East. We’re delighted to have received this award, as it shows that our hard work and dedication to recent developments have been recognised, and helped provide substantial fuel savings to the end users.”
Vaillant has been successful at Three Rivers due to its extensive knowledge within the Registered Social Landlord (RSL) sector. In addition, Vaillant’s comprehensive partnering package has delivered innovation and added real value for the client.
The recent success of the Three Rivers boiler deal has provided the authority and end users with high quality, highly reliable products backed up with a comprehensive service agreement that covers repair, training, delivery and a two-year warranty. Tenants have also benefited from reduced energy bills, as Vaillant has been supplying high efficiency boilers.
