Vaillant strengthens its UK marketing team

  • Listen to the article

07.05.2008: 2008 sees a number of changes to the Vaillant brand marketing team. James Parkinson has been appointed as Brand Marketing Manager for Vaillant Ltd. He joins from the Aga Group, where he was Brand Manager for the Falcon and La Cornue range of domestic appliances. His primary responsibilities will be to oversee Vaillant brand marketing, ensuring the core products and services – particularly in the renewables sector – are launched effectively within the industry and increasingly to the end user. He will also manage a number of external agencies.

Louisa Tipping has also been appointed as Marketing Communications Manager. Her role will involve promoting Vaillant’s heating and air conditioning products and services, and ensuring that all future campaigns dovetail into the overall marketing strategy. She previously worked for Calor Gas, where her responsibilities included implementing and managing national commercial and regional marketing strategies.

Finally, Claire Dibble also joins the team as the new Vaillant marketing assistant. Claire has been with Vaillant since October 2006, having formerly worked in the administration department, and is looking forward to displaying her organisational and creative skills. Claire will work alongside Alan Lacey, who has been with the company since September 2006, and continues to play an important role in supporting the Vaillant brand marketing strategy.

Commenting on his new role, James said: “My biggest challenge is to ensure that the Vaillant brand is represented effectively across all markets, particularly with the ongoing growth of new technologies, including renewable products. Vaillant aims to promote renewable technologies and energy efficiency, in order to provide the UK with a more realistic prospect of long-term energy security and reduced carbon emissions.”

“2008 is going to be an exciting year for Vaillant, as there are a number of new products on the horizon. The new brand marketing team we have assembled will play a key role in promoting these products and raising the brand profile even further, ensuring that Vaillant remains the leader of the UK heating and ventilation market.”

James and Louisa will be based at the Vaillant offices in Belper, Derbyshire, while Alan and Claire will operate from the company’s Rochester headquarters.
