In addition, all Vaillant climaVAIR heat pump units on sale in the UK will now operate with environmentally friendly, non-ozone depleting R410a refrigerant.
Commenting on the modifications and new features available, Vaillant’s Air Conditioning and Sales Support Commercial Director, Dave Lacey, said: “In an enclosed environment, air conditioning can improve the ambience by controlling the temperature and humidity. Our new systems, with their advanced filter solutions, also bring good news for allergy sufferers, by cleaning the air as it circulates in the room. Also, due to their high efficiency in heating mode, they are extremely environmentally friendly.”
climaVAIR cassette mono split system
Vaillant’s new cassette range consists of two mono inverter units with outputs of 5kW and 6.5kW, as well as three mono on/off units ranging from 8kW to 14kW. These units provide a neat and attractive solution when wall space is at a premium.
All cassette systems use heat pump technology, providing heating, cooling and dehumidification modes. There are also motorised air deflectors, while fresh air and branch duct connections are also available on certain models.
Every unit has an integral condensate pump, hot start function (to ensure the heat is available before the fan starts) and self-diagnostic fault display.
A multifunction infrared remote control is standard across the range, along with the option to convert to a hard-wired controller, which allows for the control of up to 16 indoor units and stop/start integration with BEMS or local building controls. In addition to the usual temperature and fan speed operation, standard control functions include automatic restart after power interruption, as well as a remote control timer.
climaVAIR plus wall mount mono split system
Vaillant’s climaVAIR plus heat pump range is extended to three energy efficient DC inverter models, all with the same dimensions, with outputs ranging from 2.5kW to 5kW. The climaVAIR plus has a modern, slim 160mm flat-fronted design, complete with a unique, concealed vent operation, suitable for offices, shops and homes.
The climaVAIR plus also has a selection of air quality improving devices, including an ultraviolet generator to reduce bacteria in the circulated air, a deioniser to improve air freshness and an optional heat exchanging, fresh air input kit.
climaVAIR pro wall mount split system
Completing Vaillant’s wall mount range is the on-off climaVAIR pro, consisting of four units spanning from 2.5kW to 7kW cooling duty. These units consist of three-stage filtration, bio, cold catalyst and anti-dust layers. All units achieve A/A energy efficiency ratings (B/B for 7kW) and the indoor units are just 180mm deep.
climaVAIR performance floor/ceiling split system
Vaillant’s climaVAIR split system floor/ceiling range is also extended, with two inverter models of 5 and 6.5kW and two larger on-off systems of 8.5 and 10.5kW.
Warranty and training
Vaillant’s unique, comprehensive warranty is standard on all air conditioning systems, while training is available from Vaillant’s regional training centres throughout the UK.
