  • Listen to the article

17.11.2008: Vaillant and Air Conditioning Supplies (ACS) North West Ltd have joined forces, with the company becoming one of Vaillant’s main commercial air conditioning distributors in the North West.

Formed by John McCaffrey and his co partner in January 2008, ACS (NW) Ltd has positioned itself as a leading specialist in the commercial electrical and air conditioning markets, throughout the North West. All of its products and services are available to a wide range of businesses, including small, medium and large organisations.

Dave Lacey, Vaillant’s Commercial Director for Air Conditioning and Sales Support, commented: “ACS (NW) Ltd offers excellent customer service and with over 25 years of experience within the air conditioning industry, John has a high level of technical knowledge. ACS (NW) Ltd’s dedicated team adds a local touch to the North West, by supporting all product offerings with a service that matches the same high standards we work to at Vaillant. By working together and forging a strong partnership, we know that we can help build commercial environments that are second to none.”

John McCaffrey, Managing Director of ACS (NW) Ltd, said: “In our continuing effort to provide a large selection of air conditioning products, we see our partnership with Vaillant as a step forward to providing lower energy costs and healthier environments for our customers.”

He continued: “By aligning ourselves closely to Vaillant and our customers, we are positive that we can develop an exclusive reputation as the premier specialist vendor of commercial air conditioning units in the North West.”

The company already boasts an impressive client base, which includes the installation and refurbishment of electrical appliances within royal households, including Buckingham Palace.

Vaillant’s climaVAIR heat pump air conditioning range includes energy efficient, cassette, floor/ceiling fixed speed and inverter split systems. The cassette range consists of two mono inverter units with outputs of 5kW and 6.5kW, as well as three mono on/off units ranging from 8kW to 14kW. The climaVAIR plus heat pump range consists of three energy efficient DC inverter models, with outputs ranging from 2.5kW to 5kW. Completing Vaillant’s wall mount range is the on-off climaVAIR pro, consisting of four units spanning from 2.5kW to 7kW cooling duty.

All Vaillant climaVAIR heat pump units on sale in the UK will now operate with environmentally friendly, non-ozone depleting R410a refrigerant.

Vaillant’s unique, comprehensive two year warranty is standard on all air conditioning systems, while training is available from Vaillant’s regional training centres throughout the UK.
