The Bristol training centre is open to merchants, installers and end users, and features demonstration zones, practical workshops with working models, product information and technical classrooms.
The Centre of Excellence presents engineers with the opportunity to diversify and learn about renewable technology. Other courses on offer include training on Vaillant’s high efficiency ecoTEC domestic and commercial boiler ranges, as well as an energy efficiency certificate, solar BPEC assessment and unvented G3 DHW assessment.
There are also a series of one-day courses designed for central heating installers wishing to expand into the air conditioning market, introducing them to Vaillant’s system design, installation and commissioning procedures. There are also two-day and four-day CITB safe handling of refrigerants course for air conditioning qualified installers for non-qualified air conditioning installers that have previously attended a Vaillant one-day course.
Dave Lacey, Vaillant’s Commercial Director for Air Conditioning and Sales Support, comments: “Vaillant is committed to providing the highest level of training available, as we believe training is the way forward for the air conditioning and heating industry; it provides installers with the opportunity to develop skills, build knowledge and raise industry standards.”
The Bristol centre is an addition to the existing Centre for Excellence in Elland, Leeds, as well as the other existing Vaillant training centres in Slough, Birmingham and Rochester.
