Derwentside Homes is delivering all of its promises made after transfer from Derwentside Council as part of a £117 million improvement programme. The organisation plans to spend as much as £67 million by December 2011 and a further £50 million up to 2017 to improve tenants’ quality of life and bring homes up to the Government’s Decent Homes Standard.
Alan Parker, Heating Services Manager at Derwentside Homes, said: “Derwentside District Council and latterly Derwentside Homes has enjoyed an excellent working relationship with Vaillant and has been using its boilers since May 2001. Derwentside Homes is actually an official partner of Vaillant acting as a service and repair agent of “in warranty” appliances.”
He continued, “Derwentside Homes use Vaillant boilers because our tenants deserve the highest quality, fuel efficient and reliable boilers in their property. We encounter very few problems with the ecoTEC pro, and our installers and service staff find them very easy to install and work with. The local representatives of the company Eric Aylesbury and Keith Long are also very accommodating and provide a first class service.”
